1/3 of food today ends up lost or wasted…

...a significant amount of this is edible by-products from food production; such as spent grains from breweries, pulp from juice producers and pres cakes from oil pressing.

We want to make it easier for food businesses to recirculate their by-products back into the food industry where they can be put to valuable use ...

Helping food businesses identify valuable by-products.

Matching food by-products with businesses that can use them.

Collect and handle the sidestreams from producer to user.

Sidestream was started by Tom and Elias, two friends who come from a background in design and sustainability who both share a strong passion for food and its many possibilities.
